Ringing New Years in Quarantine

Christmas eve and Christmas day are usually a very busy time for my fiance and I, between dinners, gifts exchanging and making sure we spend quality time with both of our families and friends. We look forward on a little getaway for the New Years but this year was VERY different.

We made the best of it by making an amazing turkey dinner which was gifted to us by my grandmother.
My fiance used one of Gordon Ramsay's recipe which came out perfectly.

Chris and I bonded over dancing, some beers and making the gravy/ stuffing while the turkey cooked for about 4 hours. It was one of the BEST New Years eve I've had in a long time.

Dinner was finally finished but I had one more surprise up my sleeve. I slipped into a VERY sexy dress and did my makeup. While splashing my perfume on my neck Chris opened the bedroom door and his jaw drop seeing me all dolled up!

He then got dressed up too for our wonderful dinner party at home. We had dinner, slowed danced in the kitchen while sipping on some wine.

We had some time to kill before midnight so we went on a hunt to stream one of my favorite movies growing up "THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY 2", two hours later we finally found it on cineplex.com .
The movie finished just in time to ring in 2021! At midnight we had our perfect KISS !

WE HAD OUR PERFECT QUARANTINE NEW YEARS EVE TOGETHER🎇🎉

Plato's Closet-Mississauga

A few weeks ago I went into Plato's Closet at their Mississauga location(2225 Dundas St E.).  They were having their 90% off clearance event. I came out of the store very happy because I scored some pretty amazing pieces at AMZING prices! 6 pieces of clothing at a grand total of $7.30! CRAZY RIGHT. Thrifting is the best! You have to have patience and have to look through the aisle as it is a huge store with lots of amazing finds. Insta @platosmississauga You can always shop online 24/7  www.shopplatosmississauga.com/  or JUST visit the store.

Moving

After celebrating New Years at home which was perfect, I got hit with a rent increase (more than the government regulated percentage) effective immediately which is been happening every year for the last 3 years.  So I decided to move with move with my fiance into his grandmother's condo which we bought last minute.(God bless her soul) IT ALL HAPPENED SO FAST! The paperwork and financing was made easy thanks to my future father in law.  Early January we started packing all of his grandmother stuff  into boxes which is allocated for shipping to his aunts and tostorage. Imagine packing stuff for aunts who lives in other provinces over the phone. CRAZY right! Mid January we start moving her furniture into storage units and of course it had to be the two coldest weekends and being in the pandemic we couldn't have anyone helping us. My fiance and his 68 old father and I moved the furnitures while his mother prep food for us. IT WAS COLD, WINDY AND TOOK ALOT OF EFFORT BUT...

Java House & Home

On our way house hunting in Barrie, we came across this store right off Burton Avenue. The sign out front reads "NO CHRISTMAS MUSIC PLAYING AS YET". Ok now I was curious because there was a big Christmas tree displayed in the front window. Walked in and was like WOW! It was an organized furniture store with mini Christmas themed living rooms, along with pretty little gifts (scarfs, jewellery, decorations, and so much more) This store gives the feeling of being away right at home.  @Debzkissy
