Ringing New Years in Quarantine

Christmas eve and Christmas day are usually a very busy time for my fiance and I, between dinners, gifts exchanging and making sure we spend quality time with both of our families and friends. We look forward on a little getaway for the New Years but this year was VERY different.

We made the best of it by making an amazing turkey dinner which was gifted to us by my grandmother.
My fiance used one of Gordon Ramsay's recipe which came out perfectly.

Chris and I bonded over dancing, some beers and making the gravy/ stuffing while the turkey cooked for about 4 hours. It was one of the BEST New Years eve I've had in a long time.

Dinner was finally finished but I had one more surprise up my sleeve. I slipped into a VERY sexy dress and did my makeup. While splashing my perfume on my neck Chris opened the bedroom door and his jaw drop seeing me all dolled up!

He then got dressed up too for our wonderful dinner party at home. We had dinner, slowed danced in the kitchen while sipping on some wine.

We had some time to kill before midnight so we went on a hunt to stream one of my favorite movies growing up "THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY 2", two hours later we finally found it on cineplex.com .
The movie finished just in time to ring in 2021! At midnight we had our perfect KISS !

WE HAD OUR PERFECT QUARANTINE NEW YEARS EVE TOGETHER🎇🎉

Giving back to others

A few weeks ago I saw this picture and remembered where I was years ago, A single mother with a young daughter.  Nights came and go leave me constantly crying myself to sleep and thinking about paying my bills and buying groceries. I laterally lived on a budget to make sure everything was paid. I kept it all to myself instead of asking for help, but I was lucky enough to have a great job. Years have pasted and I was  able to pull myself out of that place  between choosing a roof over our heads and groceries.  Now that I am able to give back to the SINGLE PARENTS/FAMILIES so they can worry about one less thing, I knew I needed to teach my daughter to give back to others. My challenge this Christmas is to get as many of my friends to pick items/similar items from the picture and fill a box(GET YOUR KIDS INVOLVED), and post your box on your social media (challenge your friends/followers too). This year especially we should be giving back because of the pandemic,...

Plato's Closet-Mississauga

A few weeks ago I went into Plato's Closet at their Mississauga location(2225 Dundas St E.).  They were having their 90% off clearance event. I came out of the store very happy because I scored some pretty amazing pieces at AMZING prices! 6 pieces of clothing at a grand total of $7.30! CRAZY RIGHT. Thrifting is the best! You have to have patience and have to look through the aisle as it is a huge store with lots of amazing finds. Insta @platosmississauga You can always shop online 24/7  www.shopplatosmississauga.com/  or JUST visit the store.
